E-Giving

“Quite simply: it’s convenient,” is Catherine Campbell’s ’81 quick answer when asked why she chooses e-giving. “It’s very important that the money the Lord has given us goes to organizations we have confidence in. It’s important to see the results of the work the organization does in the lives of people – in PBU’s case, students.

“I know PBU personally because I was an evening school student there. I have fond memories of the campus from that time. And afterward, before I moved down to Asheville, I attended concerts and meetings. I have a high regard for the kinds of students that PBU attracts and their commitment to the Lord.”

Catherine uses PBU’s e-giving automatic withdrawal system for her regular giving to PBU. “It’s quite certain that your money will come in or go out on a given date, which keeps it simple,” she says. “It’s so much easier, and perhaps a little safer, than sending a check through the mail.”

To set up e-giving with PBU, friends of the University can contact PBU’s Advancement Office to arrange for automatic withdrawals from their checking or savings account. Donors are able to choose monthly or quarterly giving cycles and can start or stop the giving at any time. Gifts can be designated to the www.pbu.edu/give.
