In July, Mr. Jamie Gleason ’00 began a new role as Director of Alumni Relations. Jamie has served as the Director of Admissions for the past two years. Having been on staff, and as a graduate of PBU and an alumnus of WWC, Jamie has insight into the alumni experience that will be invaluable as he seeks to creatively and effectively engage with other alumni.
Jamie, whose major was camping ministry, worked as a program director for 5 years in the Adirondack Park of New York after graduation. His wife Charlotte (Reid) ’00 worked as a public school educator during their time away from PA. They returned to PBU in 2006 when Jamie joined the Student Life staff as the Director of Resident Life, and Charlotte began teaching in the School of Arts and Sciences and School of Education.
The Gleasons live near the University with their three children. Charlotte continues as a part-time faculty member in the School of Education. Jamie looks forward to reaching out to PBU alumni (both recent and historic) to learn how God has used PBU to change His kingdom and the lives of those who meet with our PBU alumni. Additionally, he is eager to see how PBU can better meet the needs of those who once graced our hallways.
