Ralph Eckardt, 1976 | First a caseworker and later a supervisor in the Pennsylvania Department of Welfare, Dr. Ralph W. Eckardt (‘62) was an excellent choice for the first full-time faculty member to join professors and chairman Charles Furness after the 1965 founding of PCB’s Bible Social Work program. Dr. Eckardt taught at Philadelphia College of Bible (now Cairn University) from 1970–1979.
